Our Farm
Climate and nature friendly farming is at the heart of everything we do at Westerlands. We support nature. Our meadows sustain insect life, which supports birdlife. We have our own bees and sell honey in our Farm Shop.
-

Farm Shop
All our animals are 100% grass fed, high welfare and free to roam at Westerlands. By choosing to buy directly from us, you are supporting sustainable farming practices and also purchasing locally raised produce.
-

Farm Kitchen
There’s nothing quite like home-cooked food. Our frozen meals are made using our own 100% grass-fed Dexter beef and lamb, slow-grown here at Westerlands for exceptional quality.
-

Our 20 Year Vision
Our definition of success is simple yet ambitious: a landscape rich in abundant biodiversity where wildlife, livestock, plants and people all thrive together and a community that is healthier, more connected and inspired by the natural wonders of the land.
-

Thought Leadership
In 2025, Westerlands hosted it’s first annual South Downs Food & Nature Fest, weaving together food, nature, education and community into a one day festival exploring the deep connection between what we eat and the health of the land around us.

Dark Sky Reserve
The night sky has guided Sussex farmers for centuries, shaping traditions, stories, and the rhythm of the seasons. In our collection of articles, you’re invited to explore the history and symbolism of each full moon, along with the wonder of meteor showers and other celestial events, and discover their lasting connection to the natural world.
