“The barn house in all its recently refurbished glory, was the most idyllic place we could have hoped to stay. The perfect mix of both homely and stylish, we were completely comfortable, sleeping, eating and just getting away from it all in this big house. We had a few barbecues and genuinely felt like we were somewhere in the Mediterranean eating out along the big table. The kitchen has everything you need, and the bathrooms and bedrooms are as comfortable as home. There are plenty of walks straight out the front door and a large garden out back for just chilling out. It’s private, beautiful and amazing value for money. Absolutely no complaints, we’ll come again!”

“Barn Cottage is a wonderful place to go for a trip away with friends and family. We were there with two toddlers and a baby and it was very child friendly with a high chair, kiddie plates and utensils and a basket of games to keep them occupied indoors.

Most of our time was spent outdoors though. The kids had a great time meeting the horses in the field opposite the cottage. Antonia is lovely and took the time to show us around her beautiful farm.”

“What a fantastic place! Absolutely beautiful apartment in a truly stunning, tucked away, unspoiled part of the English countryside. The place itself is cozy, clean and comfortable. Lovely big bed, soft sofas, great shower, and absolutely stunning location.

Near enough to explore the south downs and lovely local villages, but quiet enough to feel like you're the only people on earth. If you want to get away from it all this is the place.”

“A lovely space, plenty of room for the four of us and two dogs (and a pony!!), hotel quality linens and comfortable beds. The Annex is very tastefully fitted out with lots of things to keep the kids occupied and a very well-appointed kitchen (I cooked a few meals).

The property is so lovely, so much space and right next to the South Downs which made for great hikes, cycling and hacking. We really hope that we will be back!”

“We loved our two day escape to Westerlands. Aspen Leaves is a beautifully crafted shepherd's hut - I loved discovering gorgeous details such as the hearts carved into the wooden beams and the thoughtful touches provided by our lovely host Antonia - a vase of wild flowers, a jar of farm honey. Rocking chairs around the fire pit - what a great idea! The pretty fairy lights around the bed made the evening truly magical. The view of fields from the bed out of the window was heavenly when we woke up in the morning - and what a comfortable bed! I can't wait to come back and stay!”

“Really relaxing stay at a super rustic barn. Loved the horse and foal in the next field, who felt like family by the end! As did the chickens who came to say hello in the morning - they're lucky they didn't get themselves kidnapped! Some lovely local pubs a short walk away. Oh, and the bathroom really is something else! It's like someone's planted a luxury suite in the middle of a field. What a wonderful, surreal experience is a morning shower while looking across the South Downs... unforgettable!”

“We stayed in the shepherd hut for a week and it has easily been our favourite Airbnb experience so far! We had a brilliant time exploring the many trails, foraging for mushrooms and berries, picnicking with stunning sunsets and getting to know the chickens.

Emma's natural warmness and cracking sense of humour made us feel completely at home and happy to reach out from the moment we arrived. We spent our whole holiday feeling blessed and in complete comfort.”

“Fantastic yurt with lots of accoutrements for light cooking, making tea and having a wonderful experience - it is set in the most beautiful surroundings - magical at night when you put the fairy lights and the wood burning stove on! Open the wooden door onto a spectacular view of the South Downs.
