At Westerlands, children can discover the joy of spending time with ponies in a safe, supportive, and fun environment. Through hands-on activities, gentle guidance, and plenty of laughter, they’ll build confidence, learn new skills, and create lasting memories. Whether it’s making friends, trying something new, or deepening a love for horses, our pony experiences are designed to inspire and delight every child.

Pony Morning
YOUNG CHILDREN AGE 5+
School Holidays 2hrs £45Our Pony Morning offers an exciting, educational and fun-filled experience for young children, with a wonderful opportunity to connect with animals, develop new skills, and enjoy the outdoors. Children will learn to tack up and care for their ponies as well as play equestrian games and enjoy a pony ride around the farm.

Pony Academy
YOUNG TEENS AGE 10-15
School Holidays 3hrs £55At Westerlands Pony Academy, we teach young teens everything they need to know about the day-to-day life of a horse — from grooming and feeding to understanding their needs and creating a bond with them. It’s not just about riding — it's about building a strong relationship with these amazing animals and learning how to take care of them.

Pony Trick or Treat Trail
ALL AGES AND ABILITIES (3+)
31 October 2025 - 10am to 1.15pm
1 hour £40 per child✨ Join us for a magical 30 minute Pony Trick-or-Treat Trail on our family farm! ✨
Set off on a fun-filled pony walk (in groups of four) as you follow spooky clues to uncover hidden tricks and treats along the way. After the trail, every little adventurer can enjoy 30 minutes in our equestrian activity room, creating a spooky Halloween decoration to take home alongside their goodies.
It’s a wonderful way for children to connect with nature, enjoy the outdoors, and celebrate the magic of Halloween in a safe, family-friendly setting. 🎃🐴

1 hour £40 per child✨ Join us for a 30 minute magical Pony Tinsel Ride on our family farm! ✨
Set off on a fun-filled pony walk (in groups of four) as you follow christmassy clues to uncover hidden treats along the way. After the trail, every little adventurer can enjoy 30 minutes in our equestrian activity room, creating a Christmas decoration to take home alongside their goodies.
It’s a wonderful way for children to connect with nature, enjoy the outdoors, and celebrate the magic of Christmas in a safe, family-friendly setting. 🎄🐴

After the trail, every little adventurer can enjoy 30 minutes in our equestrian activity room, creating an Easter themed decoration to take home alongside their delicious chocolate Easter Egg.
