Learning with horses provides a transformative experience for young people. Through hands-on interaction, children build confidence, resilience, teamwork, and other transferrable skills. Personal growth is celebrated in a safe environment with achievement awards recognising effort and progress.

  • Changing Lives

    AGE 5-25
    Starts September 2025

    Changing Lives Through Horses is an alternative education programme created by the British Horse Society to help young people build vital life skills and find positive pathways for the future. Using the transformative bond between horses and humans, the programme provides a safe and nurturing space where participants can develop six key life skills and foster personal growth including resilience and self-esteem.

  • Saddle Club

    YOUNG TEENS AGE 10-15
    10 Sep-15 Oct 18hrs £300

    Saddle Club is a 6-week programme created for Home Educated students aged 10-15 who would like to learn about pony care, equine behaviour and stable management. It’s more than just riding, it’s a structured educational journey into the world of horses. Through hands-on experiences and the unique bond between horses and humans, children can build confidence, team skills, resilience, and self-esteem in a safe and nurturing environment.
