Moving Inwards
60mins│£15
Alternate Fridays at 6pm
Ease into the weekend with Claire’s deeply calming evening yoga practice in the Waterlands Room, created to help you soften, release tension, and settle into a quieter, more restorative pace.
-
This nourishing session blends supported restorative postures, gentle pranayama (breathing practices), and guided meditation to calm the nervous system and cultivate a profound sense of ease. Each posture is fully supported and held in comfort, allowing the body to soften and the mind to settle naturally.
As you sink into stillness, you’ll be guided through simple yet effective breathing techniques to quiet mental chatter and deepen your inner calm. The practice concludes with a guided meditation, offering space to reset, restore, and reconnect.
Throughout the class, the subtle, resonant tones of Himalayan singing bowls enhance the experience—encouraging deeper relaxation and creating a peaceful, immersive atmosphere.

Rooted in ancient Chinese wellbeing practices, Tai Chi and Qi Gong combine slow, flowing movement with breath awareness and mindful focus to support both physical and mental wellbeing. Often described as “meditation in motion,” these practices are designed to improve balance, mobility, coordination, flexibility, and posture while helping calm the nervous system and reduce stress.
Qi Gong focuses on breath, energy flow, and gentle repetitive movement to cultivate vitality and inner balance, while Tai Chi weaves these principles into flowing movement sequences that build strength, stability, and body awareness. Unlike high-impact exercise, these practices are slow, accessible, and deeply restorative, making them suitable for all ages and abilities.

Hatha and Yin Yoga come together to create a deeply grounding and restorative practice for both body and mind. Rooted in ancient yogic traditions, Hatha Yoga focuses on the connection between breath, movement, balance, and mindful awareness, using slower-paced postures to build strength, stability, flexibility, and alignment. Yin Yoga, inspired by both traditional Chinese medicine and yoga philosophy, takes a more meditative approach through longer-held postures that work deeply into the connective tissues, joints, and fascia while encouraging stillness and inner calm.
Unlike faster, more physically intense styles of yoga, these practices prioritise nervous system regulation, breath awareness, and mindful movement over performance or pace. Sessions move slowly and intentionally, creating space to release physical tension, quiet mental overstimulation, and reconnect with the body in a more conscious way.
Pilates

Pilates is a low-impact yet highly effective movement practice designed to build deep core strength, improve posture, enhance mobility, and create better balance throughout the body. Combining controlled movement with breath awareness and mindful alignment, Pilates helps strengthen the muscles that support the spine, improve flexibility, and develop greater body awareness.
Originally developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century as a method of rehabilitation and functional conditioning, Pilates is now widely recognised for its benefits in supporting long-term physical health, posture, coordination, and injury prevention. Research suggests regular Pilates practice can help improve core stability, balance, flexibility, muscular endurance, and overall movement efficiency while also supporting stress reduction and mental wellbeing.
Sessions are designed to feel both energising and grounding, with outdoor classes offered whenever possible to combine the benefits of mindful movement with fresh air, natural light, and the restorative effects of nature. Expect a full-body workout that leaves you feeling stronger, more aligned, and deeply refreshed in both body and mind.
Guided Horse Walk

-
More than simply a walk, this guided experience offers an opportunity to connect with the therapeutic rhythm of movement, nature, and horse companionship. At an unhurried pace, you’ll lead one of our ponies through peaceful surroundings, encouraging presence, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation through gentle outdoor activity.
Research into equine-assisted wellbeing suggests that spending time with horses may help reduce stress, lower anxiety, and support emotional regulation by encouraging calm focus and present-moment awareness. Horses, as highly responsive and intuitive animals, naturally encourage us to slow down, regulate our energy, and become more attuned to ourselves and our environment.
