Emotionally, teens are at an age where they can form strong, meaningful connections with animals. The bond they form with a horse can be both empowering and transformative, boosting their self-esteem and emotional growth.

At Westerlands Pony Academy, we teach young teens (from age 10 to 17) everything they need to know about the day-to-day life of a horse — from grooming and feeding to understanding their needs and creating a bond with them. It’s not just about riding — it's about building a strong relationship with these amazing animals and learning how to take care of them.

Enjoy a morning filled with horse care, theory and one ride around the beautiful Westerlands Farm. No riding experience necessary, children will be supervised at all times. Refreshments of squash and biscuits included.

Bookings close at 6pm the day before the event.
